We are thrilled to announce the official release of the long-awaited “Chinese Empresses” book by Xiang Li and co-author Fei Wu. This extraordinary volume, spanning 188 vibrant, full-color pages, beautifully captures the essence, elegance, and strength of over 200 historical empresses of China.
Created meticulously over 12 years, each portrait was masterfully painted by Xiang Li using traditional watercolor techniques enhanced with crushed gemstones on silk. This unique artistic approach brings each empress vividly to life, reflecting their remarkable stories of resilience, leadership, and timeless wisdom.
