About the Artist
Xiang Li is a master artist from Beijing, China, who spent over 40 years painting and restoring artwork inside the Forbidden City. Her work preserves traditional techniques passed down for generations, using mineral pigments and silk scrolls. Today, Xiang lives and works in Massachusetts with her daughter, Faye, bringing Chinese heritage to life through modern exhibitions and community events.
What You’ll See
Chinese Empress Canvases: Each empress canvas print is designed with care, capturing not only their royal beauty but their courage, wisdom, and influence. These women ruled in times of great change and continue to inspire strength and leadership today.
Panda Canvas Canvases: Playful and colorful pandas celebrate cross-cultural joy. One special piece features pandas enjoying ice cream — a tribute to the artist’s favorite local spot, Christopher’s Ice Cream.
